Yeah, this one has caused a few arguments amongst the neighbors no doubt. (well, at least among those of us who are nuts about lawn care and grass and such). But there really is a method to manicuring a lawn the right way. No matter which school of thought you come from, you need to have a consistent lawn maintenance ritual.
So do you mow, trim and edge the grass? … or to you trim, edge then mow the lawn? huh?… check out the video and let me know what you think.
So to wrap up this video lawn tip, here is your key…
1) trim first keeping in mind the finished cut height your mower will produce
2) mow the grass and mulch (grind up) all the debris left from the weed whacking
3) edge the driveway and sidewalks to give that clean, tall edge. Yeah baby!
