Yes, You Can Have A Green, Thick, Weed Free Lawn

This Is My Lawn, Cool Eh?

You’ve heard that before haven’t you?

“Get this bag-o-crap and throw it on your grass for healthy turf all year!”

“Hire my company and we will spray and pray you into a golf course in less than 3 months!”

“This new grass seed is the miracle to creating your own ‘grassy knoll’ – no watering or work required.”

…and so you’ve tried these things and they just have not worked! Your lawn still looks like a farm field full of weeds, crabgrass and other stuff that makes your house look like a vacant, burned out shack – so what can you do?

The truth is guys, you can have a nice lawn if you are willing to listen, learn and heed just a few simple tips. If you can master the basics and set a good foundation, then you can have a nice lawn in about one season. (and I am gonna give you all that info right here!)

Now, there are a lot more moving parts that you’ll need to be prepared for down the road, but you have to first master the basics, then move to the deeper ends of the lawn care pool. So where do we start Al? When do we start and what do we start with?

I am glad you asked guys… follow along here and you can have nice grass faster than you think. If you come upon something you don’t understand, feel free to leave a comment below the article, or contact me here via email (it’s a no spam zone! promise).

I have given you some convenient links here below to some of the very basic articles I have written on Midwest Lawn Care. Please read and heed! – you may think you know what you are doing, but it is always a good idea to brush up or see a different point of view… trust me, I walk on almost 5,000 lawns EVERY YEAR in my dayjob, so I have seen it all here in Indiana, Illinois and Ohio as well as the rest of the Midwest…
